Kate hard at work!

Last Sunday All The Skills sent three artists to a community fun day held at Sunnyside Park in Great Lever.

As usual Sean and Naomi were in charge of teaching circus skills to children and their grown ups but for this event we were joined by visual artist Kate Woodfield. Kate was kept very busy for two hours making willow and tissue fairies and aliens. The large alien was left to be displayed at the community centre which I think is very fitting as many people from the surrounding streets were involved in decorating it.

There was a real buzz about the day with plenty of different attractions including a fancy dress competition using recyclable materials, a dog show, cake show and guess the theme tune competition and party dances with Magic Mark.

The event was one of the friendliest and best attended park gigs we have done in Bolton this summer.

A massive well done to  Donnette Foster and her team for organising such a brilliant fun day.
