Friday 4th September was the first day back at school for Y11 pupils at Tadcaster Grammar school and what a fun filled day it was!! The young people had a day full of talks to prepare them for work experience from various organisations.
Naomi and Sean were booked to deliver a session using circus skills to explore team building schools and provide an active activity in a day that was made up of lots of sitting and listening. The groups learned how to juggle in pairs, pass flower sticks and spinning plates to each other in various ways. Some groups experienced the pressure of literally keeping lots of plates spinning at the same time while the task for another group was keeping as many balls in the air as possible.
The groups also played games focused on following new and changing instructions and teamwork including the infamous Spagetti game! If you don’t know how to play, contact us at email@example.com and arrange a workshop where you can experience the pasta based madness!
